BNP Paribas Cardif to acquire AXA Investment Managers

After several months of negotiations, the AXA Group has signed an agreement with BNP Paribas Cardif to sell its asset management subsidiary AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM).

The transaction is valued at 5.1 billion EUR (5.3 billion USD). Pending regulatory approval, the deal is expected to close in the second quarter of 2025.

As a reminder, the two French companies had entered into exclusive discussions on 1 August 2024.
