Black box mandatory on all new cars

All new cars destined for the European market will now be equipped with a black box that will store data useful for analyzing the circumstances of an accident. The implementation of this system was planned for May, but will be postponed until July 2022.

The recorded information will be accessible to legal authorities, public authorities and research institutes specialized in road safety.
