Henri Théodore Bayouak was dismissed as General Manager of Chanas Assurances on 20 August 2025, less than a year after taking up the role in October 2024.
No official reason has been given for his departure.
Until a new General Manager is appointed, Bibiane Francine Mbia, currently serving as Technical Director, will assume the role in an acting capacity.
Mbia joined Chanas in September 2024, following nearly twelve years at SUNU Assurances, where she headed the Underwriting and Reinsurance Department.
