Berkshire Hathaway: a new environment friendly product

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) is introducing a new "Environmental Damage" product.

It is an environmental risk insurance policy that provides technical and legal support to facilitate pollution claim management.

The guarantee covers:

• The policyholder's sites,
• Services rendered off-site,
• Transport activities,
• Third party liability losses related to accidental or gradual environmental damage,
• Environmental liability,
• Clean-up and restoration costs,
• The insured’s sites decontamination costs,
• Emergency costs and business interruption.
