Bancassurance in Saudi Arabia: New regulations

The Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) issued new regulations governing the activity of bancassurance in the KSA.

The new provisions seek to expand distribution networks and regulate the relationship between the insurance companies and the banks. The latter are to market insurance products mainly in remote areas.
