Several regions of Tunisia have been facing severe weather conditions for more than two days, marked by heavy rainfall, strong winds and hail.
This climatic event resulted in significant damage, mainly in the agricultural sector.
Farmers in the Governorate of Kairouan have reported substantial losses to their crops such as apricots, peaches, peppers, almonds and cereals, among others.
Videos and images circulating on social networks depict roads, roofs and fields completely covered in hailstones in the Kef Governorate.
Similar phenomena also struck Paris and other parts of France on 3 May 2025.
