ASTREE: 6.4% turnover increase in 2021

The insurance and reinsurance company ASTREE recorded a 6.4% increase in its turnover in 2021. The latter went from 175.127 million TND (64.6 million USD) as of 31 December 2020 to 186.345 million TND (64.7 million USD) by late 2021.

Non-life premiums grew by 6.43% to reach 143.495 million TND (49.8 million USD). The non-life activity is mainly dominated by the motor class of business which totalled 68.162 million TND (23.65 million USD) in written premiums.

Life insurance, on the other hand, achieved a 6.3% growth in production with 42.85 million TND (14.8 million USD).

As of 31 December 2021, the investment product reached 40.387 million TND (14.01 million USD), which represents a 1.9% increase over one year.
