Appointment of three new members to the ACAPS Board

On 1 October 2024, the Moroccan Head of Government appointed three new members to the Board of the Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS).

Saloua Karkri, Mohamed Agoumi and Lahbib El Idrissi Lalami have been appointed to the ACAPS Board for a 4-year term, renewable only once.

As a reminder, Abderrahim Chaffai has been Chairman of the Moroccan authority since 19 October 2023.

The ACAPS Board's powers include granting approvals to insurance and reinsurance companies, approving the articles of association of social welfare organizations and imposing sanctions in the event of non-compliance with regulations.
