Andrew Gwodog, candidate for the FANAF Executive Board

Andrew Gwodog is running for the Executive Board of the Federation of African National Insurance Companies (FANAF) as representative of the Gabonese insurance market and microinsurance stakeholders within the CIMA zone.

His candidacy draws on 28 years of professional experience in the insurance and reinsurance industries, and more recently in the field of microinsurance. Over the course of his career, Andrew Gwodog has held several senior leadership positions, including President of the Gabonese Federation of Insurance Companies (FEGASA), Director General and CEO of SCG-Ré, and member of the Executive Committee of the African Insurance Organization (AIO).

He is the founder and CEO of SAMB’A Assurances.

In addition, Andrew Gwodog is the recipient of the 2020 FANAF Award for Innovation and Research in Insurance.
