Amr El Kady, new Chairman of Misr Insurance Holding

The Egyptian Government has approved the appointment of Amr El Kady as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Misr Insurance Holding Company (MIHC).

A. El Kady, who succeeds Assem Ragab, holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Economics from the American University in Cairo. He has a wealth of experience in the banking, investment and risk management sectors. /p>

Throughout his professional career, A. El Kady has sat on the boards of several companies in the textile, ready-to-wear, subcontracting and insurance brokerage sectors. He has also assumed senior positions with several local and international banks in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United States. /p>

Prior to his recent appointment, he was Head of Investor Relations and Risk Management at Qalaa Holdings.
