AM Best upgrades outlook for Taiwanese non-life market

AM Best has revised its outlook for the Taiwanese non-life insurance market from negative to stable.

After significant losses due to the Covid-19 pandemic, non-life insurers have managed to regain their financial strength by the end of 2023.

The rating agency's decision is further supported by the insurance companies' prudent underwriting and investment strategies, as well as the sector's solid turnover growth.
