AM Best affirms the B+ rating of Compagnie Centrale de Réassurance

AM Best has affirmed the Financial Strength Rating of B+ (Good) and the Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of bbb- of Compagnie Centrale de Réassurance (CCR Algeria).The outlook of both ratings is stable.

According to the agency, this rating reflects the strength of the Algerian reinsurer's balance sheet, its strong operating performance, its neutral business profile and its good enterprise risk management.

A.M. Best has also commended the company's sustained turnover growth over the past five years (+ 45%). Its average combined ratio was of 80.3% and the return on equity (ROE) of 9.6% over the same period.
