Allianz Africa: Xavier Laurent at the head of the regional team of Market Management

Allianz Africa has announced the appointment, starting from 1 January 2019, of Xavier Laurent as Regional Head of Market Management. He reports to Delphine Traoré, Regional Chief Operating Officer of Allianz Africa.

Based in Casablanca, X. Laurent is responsible for the development and implementation of the business and marketing strategy in Africa. He will also monitor the regional teams in charge of distribution, bancassurance partnerships and microinsurance.

Holder of an Executive MBA from IMD Business School in Lausanne and a Master’s degree in Risk Management from HEC Paris business school, Xavier Laurent was CEO of Allianz Benin for two years and then CEO of Allianz Senegal before his appointment to this position.
