Alarming rise in road accidents in Algeria

According to the Algerian National Delegation for Road Safety (DNSR), 26 272 traffic accidents occurred in 2024, marking a 15.04% increase compared with the end of 2023.

Over the past year, 3 740 people lost their lives, while 35 556 others were injured on Algerian roads.
