Agreement between the major reinsurers on the coverage of nuclear risk

An agreement should be reached between large reinsurers over the case of the French nuclear risk cover for 2007.
During the Baden Baden meeting, Swiss Re, SCOR, AXA Re and Berkshire Hathaway have decided to take part in the 2007 GAREAT program. Set up in 2001, this insurance pool for terrorism risk benefits from governmental cover via the Caisse Centrale de Réassurance (CCR).
