Norbert Ngniwake has been appointed CEO of AfriLife and Afri Insurance, two newly established subsidiaries of the Cameroonian group Afrigroup Holding.
Ngniwake brings over 40 years of experience in the insurance sector, during which he has held several executive roles, including serving as CEO of Atlantique Assurances Cameroun from 2019 to 2022.
N. Ngniwake will be assisted by Philippe Kanga, who has been named Deputy CEO of both entities. Prior to his recent appointment, P. Kanga had served as Regional Manager for West Africa, East Africa, and the Indian Ocean at Munich Re since 2018.
As a reminder, in August 2025, Afrigroup Holding obtained approval from the Inter-African Conference on Insurance Markets (CIMA) to launch life and non-life insurance subsidiaries in Cameroon.
