Admiral Group to sell its US motor insurance business

British insurance group Admiral has signed an agreement with US private equity firm J.C. Flowers & Co. Flowers & Co for the sale of its US motor business.

The deal includes Elephant Insurance Company and Elephant Insurance Services. The amount of the transaction has not been disclosed.

Pending regulatory approval, the sale is expected to be finalized in the fourth quarter of 2025.
