The Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS), organised on 3 February 2026, in Rabat (Morocco) a meeting on the theme: “Measures to Combat money laundering and terrorist financing (AML/CFT) in the insurance sector: current status and effectiveness challenges.”
The event brought together all the sector's key players including the Moroccan Insurance Federation (FMA), the National Federation of Morocco's Insurance Agents and Brokers (FNACAM), as well as other national entities involved in AML/CFT efforts.
This initiative is part of ACAPS' strategic plan to strengthen AML/CFT mechanisms in the insurance sector by monitoring due diligence requirements, supporting industry stakeholders, and strengthening coordination among the relevant parties.
