The recapitalization of STAR

Following a bid that has involved six candidates, it was the French insurer Groupama which has been picked to take part in the recapitalization of STAR up to 35%. The other bidders are:

  • Gulf Insurance Company (subsidiary of the Kuwaiti group KIPCO)
  • COMAR (Tunisia)
  • CARTE (Tunisia)
  • Trust International Group (Cyprus)
  • RMA-Watanya (Morocco)
  • Tunis Re (Tunisia)
