The microinsurance company, MicroEnsure, is getting established in Kenya

Having successfully opened companies in the Philippines, India, Tanzania, Uganda and Ghana, the insurance company “for the poor”, MicroEnsure, is entering Kenya. It offers products tailored to meet the needs of low-income populations which help them face life's hazards such as illness, death, loss of property or crops. Partnerships with micro-finance entities, rural banks and humanitarian organizations will be set up. Moses Banda has been appointed at the management of the Kenyan entity.
