The electronic cigarette on the insurers' radar

The electronic cigarette is at the heart of reinsurers' debates. The latter urge direct insurers to increase life insurance premiums for vape users and align them with cigarette smokers.

It should be noted that several countries prohibit electronic cigarettes, while other countries only prohibit those that are flavoured or contain nicotine. In the United States, 47 deaths of steamers were recorded in 2019.
