Sub-Saharan Africa poses a high risk to investors

investorsThe Sub-Saharan Africa has a high risk level for investors. Political and legal risks are important barriers that make investors reluctant. This is reflected in the "Political Risk Newsletter" published in December 2019 by the broker AON.

Another source of concern is that in 25 of the 49 countries in the zone, investment would be unprofitable because of State debts and the difficulties of local authorities to boost the economy. In addition, according to the same source, several countries in the region are expected to face an unprecedented drought in the coming years.
