Scott Gunter: new CEO of AXA XL

Scott Gunter has been appointed chief executive officer AXA XL. He succeeds Greg Hendrick who quit the group. S. Gunter will also join AXA's Management Committee and will report to Thomas Buberl, CEO of the French Group.

A graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University and Queen's University in Canada, S. Gunter began his career at Chubb where he worked for more than 30 years and held various senior positions including that of president of Chubb's North America commercial insurance division and senior vice president of Chubb Group. The appointment took effect on February 20, 2020.
