Sava Re: 2016 results
In 2016, Sava Re posted a slightly declining net consolidated profit in comparison with the 2015 year. With 32.9 million EUR (34.6 million USD) in 2016, this figure sustained a 1.3% decrease in comparison with the previous year.
Gross premiums slightly grew at 490.2 million EUR, that is +0.8% (516.5 million USD). The good performance of non life insurance is behind this slight increase of the turnover. Non life underwritings have increased by 2.3% in the Slovenian market and by 5.9% at the international level.
The life turnover has remained stable on the local market but progressed by 10.9% for international business.
Sava Re is hoping to conclude the year 2017 with profits comprised between 32 and 33 million EUR (33.7 and 34.7 million USD) for a written premiums volume of 494 million EUR (520.5 million USD).
