Sahara Insurance has reported excellent 2007 results

Sahara Insurance has reported excellent 2007 results with gross premium volume worth 20.7 million LYD (17.7 million USD) against 15.5 million LYD (13.2 million USD) in 2006, that is, a 33% growth. As to the net profit achieved, it amounts to 2.2 million LYD (1.8 million USD) in 2007 against 2 million LYD (1.7 million USD) in 2006, that is an 11% increase. Such performances are even more remarkable with the Libyan market becoming extremely more competitive since the creation of new insurance companies.
The 2007 results confirm the reputation of the company as a professional entity under the leadership of Ibrahim Felfel.
Sahara is the first Libyan company to publish its 2007 results.
