Insurance: what do customers think of robo-advisors?

robotWith the evolution of internet, social networks and more recently the interest of web giants in the metaverse, robotic advice may play an important role in customer guidance in the near future.

In a recent survey made on 463 Americans, Scor gauges consumer interest in advice provided by robots in various areas of finance including insurance.

According to the report published by the reinsurer, 5.2% of respondents have already used robotic advice to choose life insurance and 22.9% say they are ready to try this mode of advice.

The same source specifies that for the choice of a non-life insurance, 3.7% of the respondents have already experimented with artificial intelligence and 22% are ready to use it.

In comparison, in life insurance, less than 30% of respondents have already benefited from the services of a professional advisor. This rate drops to less than 25% for non-life insurance.
