AXA : Mobilization against COVID-19

AXAIn order to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, AXA has taken a series of measures:

Donations and participation:

  • AXA is to release 37 million EUR (40.910 million USD) for the benefit of several support funds, 27 million EUR (29.853 million USD) of which will be allocated to “le Fonds de Solidarité de l’État”(the State Solidarity Fund).
  • In addition, AXA will dedicate 5 million EUR (5.528 million USD) to the AXA Research Fund for infectious diseases.
  • As for the medical equipment, the French insurer will provide two million masks for the medical staff, 350 thousand of which are FFP2.

Preserving jobs: In addition to the donations and medical equipment, AXA is committed to maintaining jobs. The insurer will not engage in short-time working and will continue, throughout the confinement, to pay its employees as well as the social security contributions and taxes.

Assistance to the struggling companies: All the way through the confinement, AXA will maintain the coverage for the companies that struggle to pay the premiums.
