Africa Re: several senior management appointments
African Reinsurance Corporation (Africa Re) has announced five senior management appointments in 2019:
- Guy B. Fokou was appointed Director of Human Resources in June. Guy B. Fokou joined the African reinsurer in 2014. He has more than 18 years of experience in human resources management.
- Linda Bwakira has been Corporate Secretary and General Counsel of Africa Re since October 17, 2019. She enjoys an experience of more than 18 years. She has worked in various law firms and international financial institutions such as the African Development Bank.
- Adil Essoukkani was appointed Director of Information and Communication Technology on 2 September 2019. Prior to joining Africa Re, A. Essoukkani was Chief Information Officer of SAHAM Angola Seguros.
- Phocas Nywandwi was appointed Director of Central Operations and Special Risks on 1 August 2019. P. Nywandwi enjoys over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. He joined Africa Re in 2010.
- Yvonne Palm was appointed Director of Risk Management, Compliance and Actuarial Services on November 27, 2019. She is endowed with more than 13 years of experience in the actuarial field.
