Royal Onyx Insurance Cie opens non-life branch in Bangui

Cameroonian insurer Royal Onyx Insurance Cie inaugurated its new branch in Bangui, Central African Republic, on 2 October 2026.

Operating under the name Royal Onyx Insurance Cie Central African Republic, the new branch provides non-life insurance coverage for individuals, businesses, and public agencies. Its product offering includes motor, fire, transport, professional and industrial risks, as well as comprehensive homeowners insurance.

The expansion is part of the insurer’s efforts to strengthen its presence in the CIMA (Inter-African Conference on Insurance Markets) region.
