Liberty Mutual Reinsurance promotes Tom Spurgeon

Tom Spurgeon has been appointed Global Head of Cyber Reinsurance at Liberty Mutual Reinsurance (LM Re), a subsidiary of the U.S.-based Liberty Mutual Insurance Group. He succeeds Ivonne Staisch in the role.

Based in London, T. Spurgeon will report to Susan Barber, Head of Financial Risks Reinsurance.

Since joining LM Re in 2017, T. Spurgeon has held several leadership roles over the past nine years, most recently serving as Underwriting Manager.
