Tunis Re closed the first half of 2026 with turnover of 126 million TND (42.1 million USD), representing a 2.2% year-over-year increase.
Non-life premiums reached 105 million TND (35 million USD), while life premiums totaled 4.7 million TND (1.6 million USD). The company's Retakaful business generated turnover of 16.3 million TND (5.5 million USD).
Incurred losses declined by 16%, falling from 36 million TND (12.5 million USD) at the end of June 2025 to 30 million TND (10 million USD) a year later.
The improvement in the claims experience was primarily attributable to the absence of major loss events during the first half of the current fiscal year.
Financial income rose by 6.1% to 17.028 million TND (5.7 million USD).
