BCP puts an end to its contracts with CNIA

The Banque Commerciale Populaire (BCP) has announced the end of its partnership with CNIA Insurance Company for the marketing of Bancassurance products. All the contracts underwritten by BCP should be transferred to another company. This decision with all the serious consequences on CNIA company, which makes about 50% of its turnover of the sector, has been interpreted as a retaliation by BCP to the purchase of CNIA by SAHAM group, a deal that BCP has solicited.
