AM Best has affirmed Tunis Re’s Financial Strength Rating (FSR) of “B” (Fair) and its Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating (Long-Term ICR) of “bb” (Fair), with a stable outlook.
The ratings reflect the company’s vert strong balance sheet, adequate operating performance, limited business profile, and marginal enterprise risk management.
The Tunisian reinsurer closed fiscal year 2025 with a turnover of 243 million TND (85 million USD). The combined ratio and average return on equity (ROE) for the 2021–2025 period stood at 82.5% and 9.3%, respectively.
