Michael Correa appointed new CEO of Munich Re Canada (Life)

Michael Correa has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Munich Re Canada (Life), effective 1 September 2026. He succeeds Bernard Naumann, who has been named Head of Life and Health for Europe and Latin America.

Based in Toronto, Correa will report to Mari-Lizette Malherbe, a member of the Board of Management.

Correa joined Munich Re in 2016 and has held several leadership roles in Canada over the past decade. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of the Reinsurance Solutions division in Canada.
