Wafa Assurance: 2025 results

Wafa Assurance has released its main consolidated business indicators for the financial year ended 31 December 2025.

Gross written premiums totaled 15.226 billion MAD (1.7 billion USD), marking a 10.9% year-on-year increase.

The life insurance segment generated turnover of 8.359 billion MAD (908.5 million USD), up 8.6% compared with the same period in 2024. Non-life insurance premiums rose by 13.9% to 6.867 billion MAD (746.3 million USD).

As of end-December 2025, net reinsurance technical provisions stood at 53 billion MAD (5.8 billion USD). Investments allocated to insurance operations amounted to 47.9 billion MAD (5.2 billion USD).
