Sompo International licensed to operate in France

Sompo International has been granted approval from the French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR) to carry out insurance activities in France.

This initiative is part of the insurer's expansion strategy to strengthen its position in Europe.

Headquartered in Bermuda, Sompo International is an indirect subsidiary of Japan's Sompo Holdings.

With this new approval, the company is now present in eleven countries: Bermuda, United States, United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, Singapore, Mexico and France.
