QBE Re appoints Montassar Cherrak as Regional Head for the MENA region

QBE Re, the reinsurance arm of the Australian group QBE Insurance, has appointed Montassar Cherrak as Regional Head for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

Based in Dubai, Mr. Cherrak will report to Houcine Zouaoui, Head of Middle East and Africa (MEA).

Mr. Cherrak brings nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. Throughout his career, he has served as Head of Reinsurance at Astree in Tunisia, as well as Senior Underwriter and Client Relationship Manager for the MEA region at the French group SCOR.
