Merger between Oman United Insurance and Al Ahlia Insurance

Set up in 1985, the Sultanate's two major companies: Oman United Insurance Company and Al Ahlia Insurance Company are in talks in view of a merger which is poised to give birth to one of the greatest insurance companies in the Middle East region.
