Increase in the number of claims during Halloween

According to the Travelers, an American insurance company, claims for theft, vandalism and other offences recorded a 17% increase during Halloween.

Burglaries, property damage, and fire are the most dreaded risks during this party. Road fatalities are also on the rise. The risk of death of an American pedestrian increases by 43% during the festive period.
