The Board of Directors of Finafrica Assurances Sénégal has officially appointed Ibrahim Coulibaly to the position of Managing Director.
A seasoned professional in the financial sector, I. Coulibaly had been Deputy Managing Director of Finafrica Assurances Sénégal since July 2023. He boasts more than 20 years' experience, gained within major financial institutions in Africa and Europe.
I. Coulibaly holds a BA in Insurance from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (Paris), an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Master's degree in Finance and General Management from IAE Caen.
He began his career in 2003 with AXA France, before moving on to groups such as Crédit Agricole Assurances, CSC Consulting and Wavestone. He also worked with the African Development Bank (ADB) on specific assignments, and assumed various management positions with the SUNU Group in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Mali.
