HDFC International Life and Re Company: AM Best rating

AM Best has awarded HDFC International Life and Re Company a financial strength rating of “B++” (good) and a long-term credit rating of “bbb” (good). The outlook is stable.

HDFC International Life and Re Company is a subsidiary of Indian insurer HDFC Life Insurance Company, based at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) since 10 January 2016.

The rating reflects the company's strong balance sheet, adequate operating performance, limited business profile and appropriate enterprise risk management.
