Generali to create a Lloyd’s syndicate

Generali has reached an agreement in principle to establish a syndicate at Lloyd’s of London, with operations scheduled to begin in 2027.

Named Syndicate 2031 Red Bridge, the new entity will assume part of the group’s ceded reinsurance business across several classes of business.

The initiative forms part of Generali’s broader reinsurance strategy under its Lifetime Partner 27: Driving Excellence plan.
