The Senegalese Federation of Insurance Companies (FSSA) organized a workshop to introduce the new policy covering the risks of political violence, terrorism and sabotage, developed by FANAF. The event was held on 26 December 2024 at the Hotel Pullman Dakar, Senegal.
The opening ceremony was hosted by
- Oumou Niang Touré, FSSA President
- Dembo Danfakha, representative of Mamadou Deme, National Insurance Director
- Cheikhou Oumar Seck, Chairman of the FSSA Training Commission and session Chairman
- Adama Ndiaye, Managing Director of Société Sénégalaise de Réassurance (SEN Re)
Discussions focused mainly on the presentation of the new policy covering the risks of political violence, terrorism and sabotage, which will enter into force on 1 January 2025. The event also addressed the pricing principles for this risk. A committee has been appointed to monitor the implementation of the policy.
