Change in the leadership of Swiss Re

The Luxembourger Michel Liès, head of the Swiss reinsurer since 2012, is stepping down as CEO on June 30, 2016.

M.Liès, aged 62, will be replaced by Christian Mumenthale. The newly promoted executive has spent his entire career at Swiss Re, which he joined 17 years ago.
C. Mumenthale has been holding the position of Chief Executive Officer Reinsurance since 2011.
