Aviva completes acquisition of Probitas

Aviva has completed the acquisition of 100% of Probitas Holdings (Bermuda). Announced in March 2024, the transaction was approved by the relevant authorities.

Initially set at 242 million GBP (311.1 million USD), the transaction amount now stands at 249 million GBP (318.7 million USD).

This deal, which includes Probitas' integrated Lloyd's platform and the Lloyd's of London syndicate Probitas 1492, allows the British group to enter the Lloyd's market.

For the record, 49.9% of Probitas Holdings was acquired from Saudi Re for 123 million GBP (157.4 million USD).
