ASTREE has published its annual report for the year ended 31 December 2024.
The Tunisian insurer closed the past year with a net profit of 28.986 million TND (9.1 million USD), up 27.81% on the 22.678 million TND (7.4 million USD) posted a year earlier.
This growth was mainly driven by improved underwriting performance in both non-life and life segments, which contributed 15.542 million TND (4.9 million USD) and 16.951 million TND (5.3 million USD) respectively.
Turnover increased by 5.88% to 254.113 million TND (79.5 million USD), compared with 240 million TND (78.2 million USD) for the same period in 2023.
The company's activity is mainly dominated by motor insurance, which accounted for 33.83% of the total portfolio in 2024.
Life and health insurance come second and third, with shares of 30.39% and 12.5% respectively. Looking ahead, the company forecasts a 10% increase in revenue for the full year 2025, targeting 279 million TND (87.3 million USD).
