AM Best confirms National Insurance Company's rating

AM Best has affirmed its "B" (fair) financial strength and "bb" long-term credit ratings for National Insurance Company (NIC), Jordan. The outlook on both ratings is stable.

The rating reflects NIC's strong balance sheet and appropriate enterprise risk management.

According to the rating agency, the insurer's operating performance is strong with an average return on equity (ROE) of 6.3% over the 2016-2020 period.
