AM Best affirms ratings for Peak Re and its subsidiaries

AM Best has affirmed the “A-” (Excellent) Financial Strength Rating and “a-” (Excellent) Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of Peak Re (Hong Kong) and its subsidiaries, Peak Reinsurance AG (Switzerland) and Peak Reinsurance North America Ltd (Bermuda). The outlook for both ratings is stable.

The decision reflects Peak Re’s strong balance sheet, adequate operating performance, neutral business profile, and appropriate management of enterprise risks.

The ratings also take into account the neutral impact of Peak Re’s parent company, Fosun International Limited.
