GIG: results down at end-June 2025

Gulf Insurance Group (GIG) ended the first six months of 2025 with a 20% drop in insurance revenue to 359.6 million KWD (1.2 billion USD).

Net profit amounted to 12.6 million KWD (41.1 million USD), down 25% compared to the same period in 2024.

Insurance service result stood at 15.6 million KWD (51.2 million USD), marking a 6% year-on-year decline.

During the reporting period, the company's assets and equity totaled 1.26 billion KWD (4.12 billion USD) and 245.9 million KWD (804.4 million USD), respectively.
