Position: - Medical underwriting officer

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Dubai, UAE

Experience: Min 1-2 years of medial underwriting

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan work schedules and prioritize workload to meet SLA`s and deadlines set by management.
• Evaluate new business applications, renewals and ensure that underwriting decisions (quotes) are processed within agreed time frames.
• Provide underwriting opinions & responses to sales team and clients also work with them to drive new business growth.
• Deal with queries and complaints promptly & effectively and ensure that the TM is kept updated.
• Update productivity stats and trackers daily for weekly reports.
• Take part in projects when required, review applicable documentation to complete the given project.

Requirements:

• Keyboard skills with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and other standard software
• Minimum of 2 years` experience in a Medical Underwriting role, working in a customer and quality focused environment, producing accurate work within team turnaround times.
• Background of medical knowledge is an advantage
• Customer focused

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Honesty and Integrity
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively.
